Stop whatever it is you are doing and download Path of Exile for Xbox.

I played this game a couple years back on PC ad it is very reminiscent of Diablo 2 with a whole bunch of features that are easy to learn. There are 7 character classes, from your standard Paladin, Marauder, and Ranger. To you more technical cut-throat, Witch and Duellist. Each character starts at a different passive skill tree location but there is potential for a lot of customisation.

Glasgow's SEC (formally the SECC) plays host to this years Insomnia Scotland/ Resonate Gaming Festival, from 21st - 23rd July 2017 we see a host of games, YouTube celebrities and more merchandise than you could blow a months wages on. The Festival marks the second year of Resonate Gaming which we happily attended last year and were happy to go to once again, it also shows a great demand for Gaming events in Scotland which have been neglected in recent years.
Events such as Play Expo and the likes have pulled together and met a demand for computer game themed events that the Scottish public clearly want. These events are extremely family friendly and do not exclude anyone, the atmosphere is fantastic and if you are looking to take someone to their first experience of a Games Show then you probably wont get much better than this.

For those of you who love handheld gaming such as myself, you may well have heard of Lock's Quest. It was a real time, strategy, tower defence game and the perfect blend of action, building and story, released back in 2008 for the Nintendo DS.  But how does it stack up now?

Firstly, this remaster is beautifully done with enhanced graphics, character portraits and soundtrack that make for a stunning feel. Each battle begins with a build phase in which you can spend the points you earn in the last battle called Source. Each wall, turret, trap and other defences cost this currency and it carries over, so the more you save, the more you have to spend but of course the less you have to defend yourself and your objective. After you have built your defences it is time to battle.

What is E3 Coliseum? E3 Coliseum is an event in which fans get a chance to view their favourite people from the industry on multiple different panels. ESA and E3 are teaming up with producer Geoff Keighley to help make this event a reality. It'll run at the same time as E3, on both the Tuesday and Wednesday. Unlike E3 itself, E3 Coliseum takes place at The Novo at L.A. Live. PST is the time it will take place in LA, and BST is the timezone of the UK. The schedule is below:

E3 is closing in fast and for gaming fans around the world there is no event quite like it. The biggest developers in the industry and an incredible host of Indie devs gather in the Los Angeles Convention Centre for a massive weekend of sneak peaks, huge announcements and of course, incredible content.
