The Surge is an action adventure game from studio Deck13 Interactive, the studio who previous had a similar styled gameLords of the Fallen. This latest title has a very different setting from the previous outing, where players are not fighting mythological beasts in a fantasy setting, instead fighting man made constructions in a futuristic setting.
If you like your death-match game play with less of a team focus and more out for yourself, I would recommend reading on as this may just be the kind of game for you. The Culling is best described as a Battle Royale/Hunger Games style event, players are in a 16 person death-match and the last one standing wins. To be honest is a such a fairly basic concept that it has spawned millions of Dollars world wide as films.
The Culling has been created by Xaviant Interactive who have found previous success with Lichdom: Battlemage, though The Culling has been been available for PC players since March last year. The Xbox One version will come under "Game Preview" and will allow players to test, play and feedback on the game while its development is underway.
If you have yet to experience the open world exploration of Fallout 4 then I would recommend reading this article just a little further. The good people over at Bethesda are opening the virtual doors to post-apocalyptic Boston and letting you explore the grime covered glory of The Commonwealth.
The free to play weekend will start on Thursday May 25th 08:01 am (BST) until Sunday May 28th 11:59 pm (BST), so you will have a full 3 and a half days to get to grips with how frustrating it is to always be looking for adhesive. Along with the game being free to play there will be special offers on Xbox Live for people who then go on to try and purchase the game, keep an eye on on the Xbox store for discounts of up to 67% on the base game and Season Pass purchases.
Hello to each and every one of you good people, we are back once again with the currently weeks Deals with Gold for all you Xbox Live subscribers. This week has a publisher sale as well as the normal bout of games on offer, which means that there are plenty of games to choose from if you do decide to purchase anything.
The list was announced on Larry Hyrb's blog site MajorNelson.com, the deals run from Tuesday to the following Monday and then they are gone, so grab them while you can. My personal recommendation would be Titanfall 2 which we awarded our Game of the Year 2016.
The current batch of Deals with Gold are now live on Xbox One and Xbox 360, these deals were posted earlier today by Larry Hyrb over at majornelson.com. This week has a varied list, while there may not be something for everyone I would say there is something for most people. Please remember as these offers are only available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
