Last night XBLG were very fortunate to be invite to a little event known as BAFTA Play. All I can say is what a night! Drinks, nibbles and some new mobile apps to try out from local talent here in Scotland. Brushing shoulders with bafta members, Games Developers and students alike, It really was a frenzy of gaming community in all its glory.
Our host for the evening was Dr Jonothon Sykes from eMotion Lab who introduced a few guests to entertain our ears with exciting projects to come in the near future. We also got a chance to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones in the process, in particular the guys over at Pixels for Breakfast who will be hosting a podcast with our very own Gavin Divers (MANJO999) so keep an eye out for that on the site soon. Really wish we had gotten more pictures for your browsing leisure but we were too busy rocking out the hubs plans for the future to all that would listen!

The problem with viral videos, is that as their name implies, the spread like a virus. From small isolated groups to larger and more developed organisations it quickly becomes a fierce epidemic. It has swept across our earth and colonies, straight into the heart of the UNSC battle fleets. People it's become pandemic and we are quickly loosing ground to those afflicted by "The Harlem Shake."
Whilst on leave after his recent traumatic experience, The Master Chief and some of his ODST companions encountered the horrors of the "shake" for themselves. Word has reached our ears that the Cheif intends to stop the "shake."
Gods speed Master Chief.
[Editors Note] You can help support the Master Chief and all our Anti Shake comrades by sharing this video far and wide, help us topple the shakers!
Thanks to the guys over at Kontrol Freek, we have teamed up with our friends at You Know You're A Spartan and are running a joint competition for a chance to win a pair of Halo themed FPSFreek Infinity.
