Well if you were it means you missed the ultra realistic, over the top orgasm-fest that was the “Experience HALO” event. The event allowed gamers to get up close with the game (It’s really, really good, by the way).
But, if you happen to be in the tiny village of Balzers in Liechtenstien then you would have hopefully noticed the amazing event, better yet you may have actually attended! Rather than walking about saying “Why the hell is there some guy in armour and a load of sci-fi troops here?” The event places people right in the action of the game and makes players feel like they’re in the actual game world. Kind of like the zombie survival event.
This is perhaps the most creative PR/launch event I’ve ever seen, and is certainly the most impressive.
The is set to launch almost world wide on November 6th, 8th if you're in Japan. There's already DLC announced for the game, including three war games map packs. As you're no doubt aware the game also has a season pass, but you get it "free" with the limited edition.
